Removal of O2 travel bolt-on.
I am so angry that O2 have removed my travel bolt-on and are unwilling to re-instate! Apparent,y I have exceeded the 25mb allowance on four occasions over the last year and so now I'm no longer eligible for this bolt-on! Having just read the terms that apply when you agree to Travel O2, it seems you can actually purchase an additional 25mb a day, if needed so I'm unclear as to why nobody at O2 deemed it appropriate to bring this to my attention! After many years of loyal service and a considerable amount of expenditure I am now being forced to leave O2 and to join Vodafone just so I can get an international packaGe that suits my requirements!!! Terrible business sense O2! I plan to investigatethis further but perhaps there are others with similar stories? Would begood to hear.
Thanks,
Rob

To start off, O2 aren't forcing you to leave, you want to leave of your own accord. You contradict yourself, you state you saw it in the terms that you could purchase extra, yet you only just noticed it, not really grounds for complaint seeing as you didn't read everything when you signed up.
you can complain but if they have grounds to cancel in the first place, they will do so, they may offer you some form of a goodwill gesture though

I have only justvreadbthe small print in light of recent developments. I don't generally spend much time reading mobile phone contracts expecting to be caught out, the action of O2 removing the travel bolt-on is now forcing me to leave and join O2 as I travel in Europe at least twice a month. It is absurd that Vodafone will take my business and put me on a preferential Travel plan but that 02 won't. I spend between £80-£150 per month and have done for years. Oh well, Thats revenues O2 willbe losing. Bad business model O2

Have you tried getting international SIM cards? You are unfortunately just an account number, loyalty doesn't mean anything these days, you will find that at Vodafone as well

Are you on a business tariff?
If so the option to buy extra data and then only the new 15mb block will only come into effect 26th march.
Only on payg can you buy the extra data now
Are you on payg pay monthly or business
