O2 coverage for Bishop Sutton (Nr Bristol)

We have no 3G coverage and reception is pretty poor anyway. My broadband comes via a local arial but there is a possibility it could be changed to a bigger mast. Would this affect the O2 signal as well?

Hi.

You caused no argument so no apology needed. slight_smile

O2 don't give out updates.

It's a case of keep checking the service status and re booting the phone

hi again. I know they are expensive but is it worth buying one? will it make a difference? Does anyone know if the work local to me has been completed?

Ok

1 are you a buiness customer ? if no you cannot get a boost box.

2 in an earlier post you say you get your broadband via an aerial ? Who provides your broadband if it is via a mobile dongle then a boostbox would not work as it needs a fixed adsl connection.

3 as advised above only checking the status page http://status.o2.co.uk will you find out when the mast is fixed.

4 Do not look at any of the other types of boosters on ebay etc that all break the uk wireless telegraphy act and can lead to fines of up to £5000 (only the networks can issue femtocell solutions the others are poor repeaters that can cause interferance.)
