O2 Open Code Retrieval and Query

Hi

My friend wants to use my O2 NHS open code  to obtain a discount when she upgrades but I haven't got it saved.  I've seen that I can retrieve the code on the O2 Open website but I can only find instructions on how to get one issued if you're a new customer.

Also, can I just check that even though I've had my contract for nearly a year she can still use the code as I heard that that it might have had to have been used within 30 days?

Thanks

SBlake

Just enter your friends details on the website and get the code sent to her mobile....

You may have to contact CS to retrieve your previously issued code.
You code will still be valid for new contracts if used within 30 days of opening it.

My contract is nearly a year old so I'm guessing it'll be invalid to be applied to another device, even if I do have it sent to her?

No, your code will be OK to be applied to a new contract with 30 days.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm a bit disappointed in that myself.  I don't think it's realistic to have up to 5 friends and family upgrade within 30 days, especially those are tied into current contracts! :(.

No.... They can take a contract when they are up for renewal, but have to apply the code to the new contract within 30 days.

To clarify
Not 30 days from you or from today.
30 days from the day they renew.
