No connection around Heathrow

Anonymous
Not applicable

For over a week now I have no service and all I see from the 'Live service checker' is that there is a mast down, there is nothing published by O2, there is no estimate of when it will be back. The service has been intermittent in Twickenham too and at the moment I am thinking that O2 just don't want to be up front about it.  I would rather there was an honest public annoucement on the web site about such issues rather than having to get frustrated and have to search for info.

Anyone else in West London having these problems, and has anyone any idea what is going on.  Time to look at the competition perhaps.

O2 never publish repair timescales or any other info than that which is posted on the status page.
All networks are the same.
The fact that it is showing a fault means that they are aware and are working on it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi @Anonymous Sorry to hear of these problems. O2 can't give exact details of mast issues etc as a fix is dependent on many factors. If you are unhappy you could complain http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

You could also download the my network app to register for updates ...http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

There is little else you can do unfortunately. Repairs and timescales depend on many varying factors and O2 will not give any information on when a repair is likely to be completed. I have to agree with you about looking at other networks and I wouldn't hesitate if this is a viable option for you.

However, all networks have problems at some time so take that into consideration. Signal is everything though, otherwise you merely own a very expensive music player.

The fact that O2 know there is a problem means they will fix it as soon as possible. You can register for updates on the status page, O2 do inform you this way.

Saying you're going to look at the competition falls on stony ground here. We're all customers just like you, and O2 doesn't monitor this site. Even if they did they wouldn't pay much, if any attention if you decided to leave because a mast is down.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
