Need an Australian number in uk

Hi. Can anyone help please. I need an Australian phone number in uk. My son is in Australia and can only call from a government landline to an Australian number. I have an Australian unlocked phone to use. I use O2 here in uk as it’s great for my area where I live as it’s notorious for being patchy( Yorkshire dales) 

Any replies and advice will be most welcome.

You will need to find a supplier of Australian Virtual numbers that allow forwarding to a UK number.

However, if you both have mobiles with a data connection you could both use the likes of WhatsApp to call each other free of charge.

My wife uses it to call her sister in Canada
