Mycare email

I have had an email from mycare@o2mail.co.uk asking me to provide proof of ID, is this email a genuine thing or is it a scam to try and copy my information? Thanks

If you have something or applied for a contract it's normal.
If you haven't, ignore it.

Such a shame that it is now a non reply address. I just wonder if they refuse all incoming emails or just accept the ones asking for information or do they give a different reply address?

@jonsie I guess if they want something electronically there are valid email addresses etc like the twitter team do occasionally give out a valid email  address to provide more information.
