don’t understand why I pay 60£ a month to o2 contract and get really bad ridiculously bad reception in my house yet my daughter who I’ve paid for gif gaffe pay as you go which uses 02 network has no problem. Have never once received apology when I’ve raised the issue

You'll need to do a little bit of SIM-swapping and testing with My Network app (or similar bandwidth and data transfer testing app), as I pointed out in your other post, @Noserviceasnorm - perhaps you already have done this, I'd love to see the screenshots of the results, like below:
