hi @petermukabeta ,

You normally have to ring O2 Customer services however your best bet would be to print out a claims form and email it across. form link is https://www.o2.co.uk/sites/default/files/2017-04/o2insurance_claimform.pdf

For a fault, you could get it repaired free under warranty.

Insurance carries an excess and may not cover faults either.

Contact the manufacturer for best results.

My phone broke down I had just purchased it (iPhone 11 Max) when the lockdown started It was about a month old. It froze I tried rebooting and all the help offered on site but it did not work.

With help from this community I managed to get in touch with the insurance, but unfortunately they advised that my phone was not an insurance issue it fell under returns so they advised me to contact O2 Repairs and Returns but unfortunately there is no way of getting in touch or chatting with anyone at O2.

I am surprised that I have been able to get with most companies that I do business with online but O2 seem to to have any means to support their customers during this lock down. I don’t have a phone I feel abandoned, I am seriously thinking of leaving them once I get in touch with them.

I do not have a phone I am borrowing phones all the time to communicate. I am a key worker in the NHS and my phone is really important but I cannot do anything.

You could try sorting it out with Apple. They seem to have a better history with this kind of thing...
