International calls option not active

Hi I can’t make international calls I even bought international calling bolt on and it says I can use straight away but nothing seems working. Why can’t we make international calls?

@Inter It may be that the system hasn't updated, or you need to speak to customer service to activate international calling on your account. If it's the latter, it won't be easy getting through. Best time to try is 8 am.

Edit: You can make international calls cheaply if you download Skype and buy credit. Depending on where you're calling it may cost less than calling on your mobile.

The problem is @Inter , O2's systems are running slowly during the pandemic. It appears there are few (if any) technical staff around to maintain them.

As @Bambino  said above, it may update later.

If not, your only option is to call O2.
