How do I know where this message from o2more is real?

This message looks like a scam to me.

I suspect it isn't, but how would a customer be expected to know this?

There is nothing in this message as far as I can tell, that verifies it as being genuinely from o2.

@reub5ter Delete it to be safe but you can untick your marketing preferences in your myo2 under contact preferences

Yes I know.

I'm saying it's bad practice from o2 to do this at all.

mmn....with a link like that it would look like a scam until you get to the last two words, O2 More! It is a genuine text but is indeed terrible practice to include an outside link.

Got another one today. I'm going to complain to ofcom.

"with a link like that it would look like a scam until you get to the last two words, O2 More!"

Putting the text "o2 more" in the message in no way confirms that it's genuine. This appallingly unsafe.

OFCOM will not do anything based on one persons say so & 2 text messages. Have you untucked your preferences like I previously suggested? Please use the complaints process below
