Glitches in credit card payment page

Anonymous
Not applicable

I use a Broadband dongle with pay and go. The web page where I pay by credit card has been redesigned and there are 2 problems with it.

Firstly, it asks for the post code so that it can look up my address, but it has an out of date post code list. When I moved into a new address with a brand new post code, some web sites did not recognise it, but gradually more and more of them do so. After 8 months, O2 does not - so they really need to get the latest data from Royal Mail Ltd

Secondly, it does not allow me to enter the address myself.

So I can no longer use that web page to top up.

The problem has been fixed!

I tried once more before phoning customer services ... and my postcode was accepted.

So whatever went wrong yesterday, it is working today

This is something you need to highlight to customer services

Glad it got sorted. You must have struck lucky as as far as I know O2 update their records only every 6 months. So either that happened or the system had a 'moment' the first time!
