upgrade old style sim to a new style sim card

i' ve recently changed my hand set to a samsung galaxy S lll GT-19300. My old sim card does not fit this device, can i order a new one ( and keep my number) and which sim card will i need for this device

Everyone has the edit facility on their own posts for a short time after posting. Lovemyphone was given extra time for his recent guide, but the permissions should now be back to normal. 

@Cleoriff, are you saying you have edit ability that does not run out?

@Anonymous, Can you not even edit straight after posting?

My brother recently swapped his phone and went into a local O2 store where they changed his sim to a micro sim card straightaway.

I'm reading this post very carefully to check it before posting so I can ensure I haven't put anything I'll regret!  :smileyhappy:
