Info for any firephone users withe email problems. I found I could text but not email away from wifi. I tried every which way and contacted O2 and in checking the methods they supplied it was clear that the default setting was wrong so setting to defaults doesn't work. Under Access Point names there is a box "Authentification type" and the default on my phone is "not set". It should read PAP . You have to fill out all the settings from scratch to correct this but at at least you know.
