i have been given a samsung wave 2 on orange i know i can get it changed over too o2 but can i get android put on it many thanks

No you wouldn't be able to do that that through O2.

There is an ICS ROM available for the Wave but the last time I looked at it, it was pretty buggy and I think the dev gave up on it. If you want an android phone the best way is to buy one
