Solved: Can I change to EE's Mobile Network?

I have a Nokia Lumia 625. I have a contract with O2. I should have 4G but I don't as my area doesn't receive 4G coverage. I noticed the mobile provider setting the other day. It showed me other networks I could receive my mobile Internet from, but apart from O2-UK, they all said 'forbidden' under them. Is is possible to keep my contract with O2 but receive EE's mobile network so I can have 4G. Also, my SIM and phone are both 4G ready. Thanks!

You'll need a new number with EE or your contract with O2 will need to be paid for in full.

If locked to O2 your phone will need unlocking.

Yes, if you get an EE SIM and contract.

I would get an EE Payg 4G sim card and try out their service before committing to anything long term.

What the Service indicators say and what you actually receive can fluctuate.
