Blackberry World: The item price exceeds your carrier billing transaction limt.

When I attempt to purchase an app billed through O2 I receive the following error:

"The item price exceeds your carrier billing transaction limit."

I have since been told by O2 that the limit on Blackberry World is £5 and this cannot be changed. I find this amazing...

I see what your saying about the charity donation but also do understand why O2 put a limit on it it's probably because of these kids that run up huge bills I know not everyone should suffer because of that but I don't think your likely to get it changed anytime soon

I assume the difference is related to how much profit O2 make when selling an app for £7.50 compared to how much profit they would make on a £7.50 phonecall, where that debt would be worth chasing.

I know there are workarounds - I just dont agree with the nanny restriction on apps (that require a password) when I can rack that amount up easily elsewhere.

Thanks for your posts though.
