As said in the query ... I need the contrast turned down on this device as it is causing me headaches, which I am prone to anyway.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you very much all three of you @madasaf1sh @Cleoriff @MI5

I have kudo'd each of you & marked one as accepted solution simply because it was easiest for me (A Permanent Tech Novice)

Thank you again, I have learned extra things from each of your posted information.

The headache is dissipating already !

I have had another look this morning at @madasaf1sh and @MI5 's posts above

They are getting too complex for me, it's my fault = Permanent Tech Novice.

I am trying to remember something my dear dad Roy, bless him, said to me ... = ... Contrast up with Brightness down on the tv ..... I will stick with @Cleoriff 's suggestion as accepted solution as it is simple for me.

No offence to @MI5 @madasaf1sh &  @Cleoriff intended.
