I just read this today.
A nine-year-old girl has been scarred for life with a chemical burn caused by her mobile phone case.
"Toxic" pink glitter leaked onto her leg while she was in bed, leaving her with a mark in the same shape as her iPhone 5c
The case was bought from New Look store in Cambridge. They have now removed the case from the shelves

Why was she sleeping with the phone in bed with her?
I wondered that myself.....Obviously had gone to bed...probably playing on her phone till silly o'clock and fell asleep on it....Not being facetious I hope.... but she could have also ruined an expensive phone

Having said all of that I only posted this as a warning really. The phone case was one that may appeal to many young girls...Glittery pink with unicorns and stars etc.....If anyone has bought one for their daughters or other youngsters.......it's probably best to get a refund...??

I have to be honest. I have fallen asleep many times with a phone or tablet on my chest after a night out....

Obviously a foreign import where regulations are less stringent.
