Just as i arrived back to the forum.. i had to go again... 😕 the reason being ive been mega poorly...

Ive caught every bug since October. And it was leaving me with chest pains.. the dr rushed me in for emergency bloods as one of the possible reasons was blood clots on my lungs.. however.. my results came back clear 😕 im still breathless and achy and unable to do much till monday. So i just wanted to say i am here... But thinking of giving it up all together.. the off topic section is thriving.. and thats all i wanted. Hugs to my veterans.x

Jonsie = I'll think of you at the drs now if you will think of me at the drs 8:30am on Friday = have booked a taxi as have rung up & cancelled twice B4 about changing my tablets, & after weekend short unexpected stay in local hospital dr I'm down to see may be in good listening mode & sensitive to me being brave enough to ask 4 a change in tablets

@AnonymousGood for you. As a retired nurse I find the best way with Doctors is to be prepared when you

go to see them. If you don't ask you don't get.

So I wish you all the best on Friday and hope your doctor listens to you...

Back home. I felt ok till I saw all the miserable patients waiting, coughing, sneezing and babies crying

It was a three week wait to see my own GP so had to put up with a lady who, quite frankly, just sort of dismissed me, wrote my sicknote, got my repeat medication wrong and ignored my answer to her opening 'what can we do for you today?' question.

Perhaps I'll wait for my regular sympathetic and caring doctor next time. Thanks for the sentiments guys and good luck Friday @Anonymous

Not a good experience @Cleoriff and it's not as though she was coming to the end of a busy day. Hoping for better when I go to see the specialist at Hope hospital next Friday!
