Hi guys,
I hope your Monday is going well.
Today is World Bee Day, which the United Nations has designated to raise awareness of the importance of bees, the threats they face and their importance to sustainable development. Bees contribute to food security and nutrition, as well as the environment in general, helping to maintain biodiversity. They are increasingly under threat from human activities.
Our resident bee expert @TallTrees probably will know more, but here's a few basic but interesting bee facts I learned by searching information online!
You can read more about World Bee Day here.

Buzzzzzing with excitement @jonsie ?
That would be a no @Marjo , the day has thankfully totally passed me by. There are some really ridiculous days and to me, this is one of them. Sorry for you bee lovers....but I even hate sickly honey!

More than Brilliant @pgn
but of course they do transport bees all over the US
not only the honey bee but the bee I breed because
they are very easy to transport once they are in the
cocoon stage.
Thought it was too good to be true ~ but "one" never knows these days and I suspect that this could be more truth than fiction before too long.
Well done! Happy Buzzing
