Welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond - Game 73
The game is open to all members.
Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted.
The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.
This week`s "diamond" is as follows:
R
C E
I K L
N O
T
This week`s target is 73 words - using only the letters in the diamond - including one 9-letter word.
The rules:
Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter K.
No proper names are allowed.
Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.
Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, KEEN isn`t allowed]
Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter K
Only one word per post.
Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.
PLEASE NOTE: I will have to call a STOP to the game periodically so I can give updates of words found. Please be patient and wait whilst this is being done and hope it does not cause too much delay or disruption to the game.
The Word Hunt Diamond game is open to all members.
I hope the Diamond Dogs of Words [thanks @pgn for the term] - those who have played in previous
Word Hunt Diamond games - including
@Cleoriff @Anonymous @pgn @Anonymous @BobM @Bambino @gmarkj @Projectionist @MI5
@TheresaV @TallTrees @jonsie @LukasB
any member who has not played before or has not played for a while; and any new member will join in and play today`s WHD.
Can you, between you, not only find the 73 words in the list [in the source used for this game], and
the one nine-letter word, but also find additional words not in the list ?
Good luck everyone and have fun...

@pgn wrote:Thanks, @Mi-Amigo - great game today, everyone, even if the Forum shows things out of sync occasionally, until it shuffles the post back into the right place on the thread timeline - caught me and possibly @Cleoriff out early-on 😆
That resulted in me getting this error once this morning:
I get that error frequently @pgn . Have discovered two ways to get round it
1) Knock capitals off and write lower case and then when you press post it will go.
2) Have TWO WHD threads open, and if one throws up that error, then go to the other thread. Only problem with that, you need to make sure you post after the last word
posted, otherwise your word will end up exactly where you post it (which could be 2 pages back!)
3) The way to avoid THAT is to make sure you post in the REPLY box at the bottom of the post (not use the 'answering pgn')
All stuff I have found out by fiddling about on the forum.

Well done everyone.
Good game as normal @Mi-Amigo.
Glad I could drop in now and again to add a few words.
Not seen either of those issues @Cleoriff @pgn, although I do get one about authentication mis-match if I leave a page open too long before replying...

When has the "better place" ever been the "right", or "correct" one, @Cleoriff 🤣
Guess mine is a by-product of me editing two guesses close together, which appeared to be separated by another response earlier . The lower-case trick is a good idea, thank you - and all my answers today we're using the "Reply" beneath a previous poster's response. And @gmarkj has, like me, found the annoyance of having multiple tabs open, whereas most heavy posting work needs, demands, multiple tabs, more often than not.

Thanks, as they also say, for "reaching out", @Anonymous 😉
