Everyone who took part got at least
I hope everyone enjoyed this White Room Quiz and will take part in Monday`s White Room Quiz.
Whilst researching and finding the questions for this quiz, I came across more "odd questions", so
Monday`s White Room Quiz will be eight questions, with one question on each of these subjects
ANTIQUES SLANG COLOURS ANAGRAMS LANGUAGES DANCES TIME FASHION
I hope everyone will come and take part.
DON`T FORGET
Wednesday`s White Room Quiz will be the Regulars` Choice Quiz.
Over the weekend, I will tot up the votes and will choose one question for each of the eight categories which gained the most points.
Thank you everyone for taking part in the WRQ.

Well done everyone!
That was a smasher quiz, @Mi-Amigo - just the thing for a time when all the seasonal decorations are down and the madness that is normality returns. Thank you.
My gif? Ford Prefect, from the movie of the radio series of the book "The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy", trying to make friends with one of his namesakes, before being saved by Arthur Dent. Douglas Adams was a man before his time.

Well done everyone
I didn't do square roots or cubes when I was at school. Had no reason to use them in nursing either
Made me laugh though when I asked my grandson via messenger. Answer given in less than a second I think.. According to him 'he uses them all the time and it's a very powerful maths tool'. I replied 'yes, so's the abacus...

@Cleoriff - I love the comments between you ad your grandson
Hope you, and everyone else, like the idea and the categories for Monday`s WRQ and, of course, you`ll be taking part in Wed`s White Room Regulars` Choice Quiz.

Abacus, you are cruel, @Cleoriff
169 and 196 are the squares of 13 and 14 respectively, something many remember if they are interested in figures. Mental approximation of the cube had me at 7 first-off, as 10 cubed is 1000 and 5 cubed is 125 (5 X 5 X 5), before getting to 6.
Definitely a quiz to dust the cobwebs off the little grey cells, loved it.
