I am that old I saw Queen support Mott the Hoople at Birmingham Town Hall in 1973.

Queen, a little known band at that time, gave an amazing performance and won over the audience with Freddie showing what a showman he was. I still remember Queen performing Keep Yourself Alive.

It's an old story here (as I have mentioned it before) but when they finished with Bohemian Rhapsody, I thought they were miming. They weren't but that was the level of their excellence.

Great quiz. The hare question only from a student conversation decades ago with a lass from Hinckley. The answers are getting trickier...
Thanks, @Mi-Amigo.

@Mi-Amigo Really pleased with my Red Thinker award ... end thoroughly enjoyed this WRQ

I like certain Queen records very much ... = ... the x-husband had the album Sheer Heart Attack slight_smile

Rider Haggard was an educated guess ... always been interested in novels, but didn't read the book ... remember the film though with the stunningly beautiful Ursula Andress in

I played Puck at school but would not have known the answer to the question

The Monarch's official birthday one and who is the Queen's grandfather I knew

All the others were fun or not guesses

Thanks once again Mi-Amigo for compiling WRQ.

Thank you @Anonymous

It`s always interesting how those taking part come up with the answers - whether it`s from memories, or an interest [particular band, sport, passtime], or even educated [or lucky] guesses. Thanks for sharing your answers to this quiz.

Good luck with questions in Wed/Thurs WRQ.
