Anyone recommend a good (cheap) webhost - preferably to include a domain name (.com), sub-domains and 1-click wordpress install?

Wordpress offers a hosting package but I am not sure if it is really that cheap.

123-reg.co.uk do some good packages, I think I got a domain and hosting for about £60 for the year. Not too sure about subdomains though, i never went for that.

I also bought a domain from godaddy for about £10 and then used Google Webmaster tools to link up the subdomains for free.

Wordpress would be ideal if it was just the blog - but looking for subdomains too - 1 to host a forum and a 2nd to host something else I have planned later.

Might look into 1-2-3reg.

There's a forum I frequent which is part of a WP site (and it uses a BCC forum). I'll ask the admin what she does for hosting etc. and let you know if it's a good price.

Our company website is hosted by streamline.net been ok for us and not too expensive and apart from cheapest allows subdomains

Just to update - moved the blog to a tumblr. It makes for better visual impact and very easy and stylish to work with. Also got a domain name for it for £4 for 2 years.

Pointed the domain at the tumblr site (which is hosted for free) and bingo, fab website-ness for not much cash!

One drawback was couldn't get the domain name to match the website name so had to change it - so its now called ink/rock/moto and is at www.inkrockmoto.co.uk

twitter is @inkrockblog.

The bike(s) are harley davidsons with the exception of one thats a BMW R75
