Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

Turned into a pleasant afternoon, if a little chilly.

This morning is grey but dry.

Tuesday :-

Grey and overcast until 4.00pm ; no sunshine, no rain and no wind.

At about 4.00pm, it started to rain torrentially and is now throwing it down.

About 16 degrees celsius at the time of writing ; does suddenly seem to be very Autumnal.

By my reckoning, 105 shopping days until Christmas. 👍

I hope you aren't going to do a blumming Christmas countdown every day on here @Oxonian

If so, I might be forced to 'send the boys round' 😂

Anyway weather cheered up and we had some sun at 2pm. Temp at it's highest was 18c (for about an hour!)

Couple of brief spells of rain yesterday, and got colder in the evening.

This morning started of bright but cold, but we have had brief spells of heavy rain, showers and sun since.

Seems as though it doesn't know what it is meant to be doing!

No @Cleoriff, I won't do a countdown, but it is relevant to mention it on the Weather thread as we head towards the end of British Summer Time and generally begin to slide towards Winter. 👍

Wednesday :-

A bit of everything today.

Began grey and overcast, but we also had blue skies and bright sunshine, as well as two torrential thunderstorms mid-afternoon. The dark skies, cracks of thunder and forks of lightening were like something from Harry Potter !

About 11 degrees celsius at the time of writing ; was 7 degrees celsius at 6.00am this morning ; and got up to about 15 degrees celsius mid-afternoon.

A cold sunny 7c. ! Apparently there will be some frost tonight, so I'll say a fond farewell to all my lovely bedding plants. They have served me well this year, giving plenty of glorious colour for the past 4 months.
