Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

Yes I bet you miss doing that

I still pine for the days before my dream life was shattered but we just have to get on with things don't we @Cleoriff

I do miss it Steve but then I get over it by thinking about Covid.

3-4 years we would have been away from it, still having to pay rates and community fees. Also standard fee for Electric.  The people who bought it from us had a terrible time and couldn't 'give' it away.

They had 6 months then covid stopped them going or letting it out. After Covid was over they had lost all interest in the place and put it up for sale. I know it was on the estate agents books for 18 months post Covid and whoever bought it got a real bargain.

So that sort of thing made me think it was a good job we sold it when we did.
the worse thing is, I can't travel abroad now @jonsie  No-one would insure me! 😑

All the Best @jonsie for a wonderful time in warmer climes and in a place you love.

I rarely travel outside Skipton due to mobility issues and then usually to the hospital by taxi which isn't a jolly is it? but grateful never-the-less.

A day at home today despite having sunshine all day - just got too cold when out yesterday in bitter cold weather despite being well wrapped up. May blossom here just about out so we shall soon be able to shed a clout.

Another day today (Friday) of sunny intervals but generally overcast and grey.

Chilly again, struggled to reach 10 degrees celsius all day.

Thank you @RunrigForever

@Cleoriff I'm going on a wing and a prayer - I bought health insurance for what it's worth. I daren't list all my pre-existing conditions as they probably wouldn't insure me or the premium would have been astronomical. I bought it from a Thai insurance company that I've always used but unless I'm struck by lightening I doubt any claim would be met with success. But it's there if anything untoward happens. It will be the last time I use them anyway as they don't insure you once you reach 75.
