Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

Nice dog @pgn

Strange weather here today ... all except hail and snow ... but ... if the Met Office has got it right for Yorkshire we're in for a Freeze.

I check the weather as shown on my phone regularly ... and ... generally look out the windows both sides of my home ... one side gets all the weather be it sunny & warm ... or cold & wet ... ... ... the other side faces SW,  but now the sun is lower in the sky it means it does not show up that side of the house, as it hides behind the houses uphill from me ... ... ... don't think we will have much of the beautiful shades of colour in the landscape this Autumn ... ... ... here the green leaves are shrivelling and falling off the trees / bushes ..... except the glorious crimson / maroon colour of a nearby 'Virginia Creeper' ....... Autumn is by far my favourite season, and it is always the shortest ....... Expecting Unfavourable & Costly Wintry Weather Soon 😞

Dark when I got up at 6am. Also cold. We have warm air heating in this house and the warmth stops immediately once it's turned down. We have a small lower window open during the night to allow the cats out. So any wind whistles through that. Currently 3c Brrrr!!

Frosty here, car needed windscreen deiced 🧊 - not that I was going anywhere, D#2 collects D#1 and goes for a fitness session with a trainer about 10miles away. Blue sky and sunshine otherwise:

Well. What a difference a day makes!

Saturday was dry and sunny, if not particularly warm when out (very warm when in the car though).

Yesterday was also dry and mostly sunny, and slightly colder than Saturday.

This morning though is very cold - both cars had frozen over, and coats were needed!

1degC and salmon-pink sky earlier.

Definitely a day to let the car warm up and defrost all around before heading out earlier.

Grey now. And still.

Cold this morning, but car wasn't iced over like yesterday.

Good job I got the winter coats out of the loft over the weekend!

Currently 9C. Forecast for sunny intervals and slight breeze. No frost to be seen. (thankfully)
