I have COLNE on my phone's Weather app ..... seems to be a lot of rain about there ... I know you are not in Colne, but I believe you are in Lancashire ... Thank you again for your bold warning against SCAMS.

Colne is approx  20 miles from where I live and somewhere I had reason to visit many times in my early working life

Sunny and cold this morning. 12c. According to the weatherman yesterday. September was the warmest for 100 years. Could have fooled me!!

It is rather wet out thanks to the impressive thunder, lightning and rain yesterday evening!

Feels cold 11c ... likelihood of rain about 7pm ... may be able to dry some washing.

No more rain yesterday, even had some patches of sun. Didn't get very warm though.

This morning is grey and chilly but at least it's not raining...

Feels warm in the house 18.5c ..... looking out the window = the sky is moderately high with small patches of light blue sky ..... reasonable quality of light so far, though the clouds are still scurrying over the sky from the south ..... have to go out today - wore a long-sleeved sweater yesterday, so yes, Autumn is here weather-wise - a nip in the early morning air, but getting better as the day goes on ..... rained during the night = best time for it.
