Cleoriff, what's the state of Wanty's beer garden like these days?

last time I relaxed there, on my own ..... it was an early Summer evening with the fairy lights on hanging from/between the mature trees ..... maybe the lads could form a group under your supervision & get it tidied up ..... = ..... just a suggestion ..... = ..... as you say I'm your 2ic ..... &  ..... you are Wanty's Hostess with the Mostest ..... have a good day Cougar Gal:smileyhappy:

@jonsie  They are just the sort of bushes I need!! They will hide a multitude of sins and neighbours...

I may send the other half down with a truck...he will NOT bring his machete...or chainsaw...he will bring a mattock and a few garden spades and forks....He may need a block and tackle also...but I am sure you will supervise....with a pint in one hand and a **bleep** in the other...

To be perfectly honest @Cleoriff I'm clueless when it comes to plants. My wife got a cutting from a neighbours garden around 12 years ago and in full summer bloom it's quite spectacular. A close up if it helps...

@jonsieNot wishing to turn Wanty's into the RHS...but...I love that plant and it is annoying me that I can't find out what it is!

It could be an Asiatic Jasmine...or Chilean Bellflower...or neither...

Do you pass a garden centre on your way to the pub I mean shops??

If so ....you may want to take a cutting and get it identified for me??
