How to enable Dark Mode on your Mac with OS X Yosemite
Source : iPhonehacks.
Excerpt from the link "Apple released OS X Yosemite a couple of days back, and the update’s main new feature is its all-new design, that adds translucency, blur, new icons and flatter design to OS X. Along with the design changes, Apple also added a new Dark Mode to OS X, that makes the menu bar and the dock darker.
By default, the menu bar and the dock art translucent, but have a white tint to them. Enabling Dark Mode gives the menu bar and dock a black tint, while still maintaining the translucency. "
My thoughts :
Try it -> Looks quite good. 😄

Apparently enhancing the darks improves the perceived clarity by contrasting the lights rather than an embossed or saturated display. Adding dark edges adds depth to most images.
