As part of the #o2surprise that I received last week, there was a jar of smiles. Many were keen to see what would come out of the jar each day, so here are the ones so far!

The one that I picked out on Friday was "If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain".

This morning I picked out "Relax and reflect. A bad day doesn't mean it's a bad life".

I have her book of poetry and the 1st about her life = I know Why the Caged Bird Sings as referenced by you Cleo = is it going to be upsetting, I imagine it is.

The Caged Bird Sings is an autobiography by Maya Angelou @RunrigForever 

"the first of seven autobiographical works by American writer Maya Angelou, published in 1969. The book chronicles her life from age 3 through age 16, recounting an unsettled and sometimes traumatic childhood that included r/a/p/e/ and racism."

She certainly rose above all that trauma!! What an inspirational woman. ❤️

PS she was 86 when she died in 2014.
