Tragic News

One evening this week I was listening to a news programme

A mother had smothered her 10 year old disabled son

His special needs school was closed

The mother went to the police and told them

When the police entered the child's bedroom he was surrounded by his toys

May that child R.I.P. and the mother know peace of mind

She would have had no support

I've been thinking just how she would have been feeling

Very very sad

Was this reported in other media?

Happy Happy Happy ... today is my daughter-in-law's birthday 

I sent her a hat / scarf / gloves set a short while ago as I didn't know then when she would be going up to Sunderland to start her new job ... = ... she is a pharmacist and will now be working attached to a surgery administering the covid vaccine ... ... ... I thought the hat / scarf / gloves will keep her warm if she goes outside during her lunch break ... she is travelling up tomorrow ... my son will miss her greatly during the week ... ... ... dunno if they Skype or similar ... I have asked my son if we could Skype ... but ... silence which means no

My son works from home ... he has the company of their cat Juno ... he will be able to carry on working from home

That's very nice to have warm hat etc. @Anonymous .. I like a warm hat..a while back I knitted a couple whilst sitting watching TV had an old pattern and wool which I had for long time..they are quite quick to make..I enjoy knitting can put together a mix of wools in a hat using up left overs. When in town would pop into charity shops and pick up some knitting wools there.

Well I could do with a hat as it's raining/pouring/lashing down.

Also today is the big day for me...Off to have my dose of Astra Zeneca... Woo Hoo.

Appointment is 10.50am, although parking will be  nightmare, I shall be gone about 10.20am.
