We strategically picked our last Spanish holiday digs so there was an Aldi nearby - not unfamiliar with their wares. Preferred Mercadona or Consum for selection, though.

That said, Aldi's bakery was top-notch, we find the Spanish breakfast pastries and then fresh bread to go with the lunchtime provender and mandatory wine or beer to be what makes the holiday 👍

Their beer and wine is the best you can get, and the cheapest too....

That it is, @MI5 - based on 2 weeks next to one in Spain. However their bathroom and feminine hygiene products forced a foray further afield to Mercadona, it has to be said. Williams Ice Blue Desodorante is one I have found nowhere else!
