Hello to all the Thursday Quizzers.
The subject for this THURSDAY QUIZ, chosen by the members, is COLOURS:
There are three questions:
Q1 How many colours are there in a rainbow?
Q2 What colour is water?
Q3 Why are flamingos the colour pink?
RULES:
No googling, wiki, social media, website seaches for the answers.
Please answer all three questions in the same post as - Q1 = [answer]; Q2 = [answer]; Q3 = [answer].
If you do not know the answer to any question, please say Q? = [don`t know]
This Thursday Quiz is now open and you may now submit your first set of answers.
The Quiz will remain open until 12 noon on Friday 26 April 2019
You may submit two separate posts, each with a set of answers, during the time of this Thursday Quiz,
but you cannot submit your second post until at least one other member has posted their first set of answers.
You may submit one post with one, two, or three answers as given by another member but must credit the member - e.g. "I agree with.... answer to Q2 is ..... "
The results and answers will be given after 1pm on Friday 26 April 2019.
Incorrect answers will receive the * klaxon * . Correct answers will be awarded
Any interesting facts - or amusing comments - in reply to any question are welcomed

Q1 =7
Q2= Pure Water is slightly blue tinged
Q3 = Not born pink (they are grey when chicks) but become pink due to diet of shrimp

Q1. There are 7 colours in a rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
Q2. Pure water is slightly blue.
Q3. Flamingos are pink due to their diet of shrimp and blue-green algae.

I wish to correct my acknowledgement on the questions:
I agree with @MI5, @Cleoriff and @pgn on Q1; @Cleoriff and @pgn for Q2 and Q3. Sorry, I didn't read all the answers properly.
I should add I'm acknowledging @pgn's first set of answers not his amusing second set of answers.

Q1. = 7 (red, indigo, yellow, blue, green, voilet, orange)
Q2. = no colour
Q3. = Because they eat shrimp
