Ok folks as I am just about ready to scream re the Note7 thought I would induldge in a happier topic.
Strictly starts tonight and continues tomorrow evening. No voting this week but really a chance to have a look at the competition.
So, on a pleasanter subject would like to hear your views on who looks promising and who needs a few more lessons.

No but a Mr R.H. had posted expressing his deep joy at the return of Ed....(oh and RH aint my other half either.. as he cant stand the show and gone to bed out of the way)

... have never taken to Ore ... & ... other than Louise's
Argentine Tango she has not really impressed me = not enough oomph! ... once the series had settled down I voted for Danny & Oti, after Greg & Ed were voted off ... great to see Ed tonight ... just don't know what happened with Danny because he has been consistently dancing well all series apart from the time he was in the dance off which was a farce
Shall have to get myself the Strictly annual so's I can pin a pic of Ed

Danny still danced very well in the Final apart from one small mistake. But his being, undeservedly, in the bottom 2 last week seemed a prediction for how it was gonna go in the Final.
Ore danced very well in the Final and I do like him, though I got a bit bored with the tears after awhile.
Louise has left me cold all series even her Argentine tango didn't warm me to her.
However, Danny had been my favourite from the beginning and throughout the series. And I'm gutted he didn't lift the Glitter Ball. I'm a big Hollyoaks fan and loved his character in the soap. That he could dance so well was a big bonus. And he's not hard on the eyes either.

Mmmm mm. A few on the Strictly forum have gone one step further. It was mentioned they would like see see the voting stats for tonight. A few even claiming that as it was Len's last night, voting for someone who works for the BBC may have been planned. ( a bit far fetched I know) though Len did seem to be a bit ott with his praise for Ore....

I'm not happy about the result either but I think wanting to see the voting stats and saying the voting was rigged in Ore's favour because he works at the BBC is a step too far. Way too far

@Glory1I would like to see them purely out of interest. (no matter who won) They show you the stats for X Factor ....who also tell you who came second and third. With Strictly we know who won...and a bit annoyed they didn't divulge what position the other two achieved. I don't think the voting was rigged at all.

Ok @Cleoriff I can see your point about the voting stats and agree it would be interesting to see who came second and third. And I agree with you that the voting wasn't rigged.
I think Danny's mistake in the first dance cost him the Glitter Ball. Don't think Louise stood a chance against Ore and Danny. They were far better dancers than her. The voting stats would have shown if the public agreed with me or not.
I voted as soon as voting opened and all my votes went to Danny as, in spite of his mistake, I thought him the best dancer througout the series. His showdance and that amazing samba I think proved me right.
The judges loved Ore who did very well in all 3 dances. And I know some people who vote based on the judges' scores alone - I have friends who do just that rather than think for themselves.
However, what I thought and my votes didn't do the job - shame. Not happy about the result but good luck to Ore the public chose him.
