It's that time of year again....Some love it and others hate it....

However, BBC have announced the first 'celebrity' to join the line up for Strictly Come Dancing 2017.

It's Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays (Frankie Bridge from the same group appeared in 2014)

Mollie King....

This year I have been following two SCD facebook sites.

Both FB sites were pretty good at the start of the series. I have now unsubscribed from both of them.

I have never seen such a display of cattiness and bitchy comments in my life!  A bunch of armchair experts fighting among themselves, and chucking the toys out of their pram if people disagree with their observations

They seem incapable of having a rational discussion or debate..(Unlike here where we all are able to give opinions without being 'flamed')

I will stick with the official BBC Strictly site. At least those comments are moderated.

You would think the F1 sites would be worse. I can assure you they aren't. At least we know none of us could get into a F1 car and drive like they do. With Strictly everyone thinks they are dancers, judges and experts. Most have never danced in their lives...Rant over  .

Everyone's a critic @Cleoriff but some people can't critique without getting nasty. It's a shame really that people can't just enjoy the show poor dancers and all and share their opinions without abusing those who may disagree.

I know who I like but accept that other people have different opinions. As I always say it would be a very boring world if we all liked the same things.

Totally agree @Glory1. We are all entitled to our own opinions. My real dislike is of those people who can't accept that there are many people with an opinion which differs from their own. (Not here on this forum)

So they then resort to name calling of a poster if they don't agree with what's been said. When it degenerates to name calling, trolling, abuse and vitriolic comments then it's time 'for Cleo to leave the building' Smiley Mad

As said, I will stick to the official BBC website if I want to read what others have said...

(and here of course, because at least we can have a laugh)

I take it you've never come across the term "Godwin's Law"? More reading here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law

No but I am familiar with the terms Mob mentality  and trolling. They will do. If I mentioned Godwin's Law in any post on those particular forums I'm sure I would be shot down in flames before they had chance to look it up 😂

Don't know any of the songs apart from Halo and Beyond the Sea. I'm not sure about Halo for a Rumba though Beyond the Sea for an American Smooth is a good choice. But then it's Susan need I say more.

Can't wait for the paso doble-thon it should be a scream 🤣
