Multiply and divide first so

 

(6)-1*0=0 and 2/2=1, 6+1=7

Yes it's 7.

 

When you add the operators and brackets it makes sense. A bit like English without punctuation.

 

Although the order of operators should be brackets on/off divide multiply add and subtract.

 

6 - (1x0) + (2/2) = 7

6 - 0 + 1 = 7
