If it's really free, might be worth a look as a replacement for downloading songs at 89p a time from Amazon MP3.

The cynic in me says there will be probably some kind of catch.

I'll stick to my ad free, subscription free G Music, You Tube and TuneIn radio - Can't see the need for anything else and I've got O2 Tracks, Play and Amazon MP3 if I feel the urge to spend any money

The catch is that your playlist is interspersed with audible adverts. Its also not really a replacement for downloading songs as the free version of Spotify doesn't allow you to save songs to your device, you need a Premium account for that. That means you'll only be able to stream music....which chews through data VERY quickly.

I've got a Premium account so I've had my playlists downloaded on my iPod and my old BlackBerry 9900 for some time.
