A review by the Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration has discovered that sniffer dogs stationed at Manchester airport failed to detect any class A drugs between November 2014 and June 2015. They are however finding cheese and sausages! "One dog, which had been trained to sniff out smuggled animal products, had detected many items accurately - but the report said most were "small amounts of cheese or sausages"

Read the story about the sniffer dogs liking sausages and cheese. Thought at first well maybe there were no drugs to be found? (I always give animals the benefit of the doubt). Love the talking dog video as well

That was my first thought but detection levels were lower then expected so I assume that indicates that some drugs should have been found.

On a side note my cats hate sausages but love cheese....(preferably melted from toasties) ..
Needless to say they don't get given that often...

Cats just put their nose in the air if you offer them anything considered beneath their regal entitlement. A dog on the other hand would eat a sweaty sock.....
