I use the Netgear Arlo system;

For a single camera I would take a look at the ArloQ camera. It needs a USB power feed but after that it connects by WiFi.
The Arlo wire free system works off batteries and connects wirelessly to an Arlo basestation. I've also got some of these where a power supply was not possible.
There have been some software issues lately but they seem to be fixed, touch wood!
(PS all cameras have night vision)
(not the cheapest though )
