R.I.P David Bowie

David Bowie died yesterday aged 69.He had cancer.

I am unbelievably shocked at this news. He had hidden his illness from the public

Jack Daniels did one for Lemmy as well ....not quite so well received though. Fans reckon Lemmy made JD the must have drink with heavy metal rockers......but he always had to pay full whack. Apparently the Lemmy version of JD is £20 more a bottle.....Apologies, slightly off topic on this great Bowie thread.... but just saying........

I have just had the biggest laugh on that website. I clicked on the 'talk to me' tab and was presented with an eerie creepy Manor door. You had to input a date. Without thinking I put in todays date. Immediately a pop up appeared stating 'Grow Up! you are too young' (Obviously they wanted my birthdate)

Just read that astronomers have registered a constellation shaped like a lightning bolt in honour of David Bowie and his 'out-of-this-world' talent

It appears that Bowie had more than genius creativity. He also had great good sense. He refused to collaborate with Coldplay on a song they had written. He said 'It's not a very good song is it?'......This refusal shows his credibility in my opinion...(you will guess I don't like Coldplay)
