You wouldn't think that if you could see me now @Anonymous
Miserable.. due to the never ending rain and the banging and clanging of the bathroom boys upstairs.

I'd like to induct these two:
METALLICA
They started a whole new genre (thrash metal) back in the early 80s. Quite simply the biggest metal band ever. I could put up a vid of some of their real classics, and although not my favourite songs of theirs, everyone knows these:
ALTER BRIDGE
Those who see me around here know my love for this band. Here's a few great examples of them. Myles Kennedy is a staggeringly good singer.
This song is one of the greatest songs ever written IMO, especially when you know the subject matter (was written about a friend of Myles' who died young).

Sir Elton John
Which songs to choose ?
Rocket Man ... ... ... probably the 1st song I remember & can sing the words to
Song For Guy ... ... ... a slow instrumental for a young man who passed away, known to Sir Elton in his music work
Crocodile Rock ... ... ... can sing along to this too & it's up-beat !

I'd like to add Chris Farlowe to that list. Great in the 60's, now age 79 and despite illnesses, still putting on shows with a great powerful voice.
