Out of those three @Anonymous I would only put The Beach boys in?
I know it's personal choice, but seriously, did Mike and the Mechanics or James Taylor ever produce enough good music to warrant such an accolade as a place in a Hall Of Fame?
(Says she, who can't even think of one song by James Taylor):happy-smiley58:

Hello @Cleoriff
Yes, you're probably right
the Mike and the Mechanics album - Pebble on A Beach of Gold I play all the time ... so ... I'll choose something to listen to on it and post on the What Are You Listening to thread
Re: James Tayor - he was a very successful singer / songwriter when I was a teenager in Senior school & still is now that I'm a pensioner ... he's an old guy now but still has what it takes ... ... ... check out 'You've Got A Friend' ... ... ... soulful / lyrical / sweet ... ... ... perhaps you won't like it, but heck ? ... ... ... heavy stuff it ain't
Are you able to delete my post with Mike & the Mechanics on @Cleoriff ? or do I have to mention Martin-O2, EmilieT, Marjo ?

No need to delete @Anonymous
I was simply pointing out that the thread initially was intended to be for groups or singers who are great 'within any genre' and musically deserve a place in the Hall Of Fame. I fully support your previous submission The Moody Blues. Brilliant group...as are The Beach Boys
