I got up in a bad mood so will say I think it's discriminatory. 
Why only folk with twitter accounts (who probably make a nuisance of themselves anyway?)
Why not rock up here on this forum and give out a few #O2surprises to folk who deserve them more ?

So, to clear up some confusion - O2 Surprise & Delight's are entirely random, there's no secret or guaranteed way to get them, and it's not confined to just Twitter and/or Facebook. Even customers that call our customer services have been surprised in various means.
It's really not about 'deserving' them - especially here on the O2 Community, where we have a monthly rewards system to reward members for their contributions... It's supposed to be a genuine surprise, rather than you knowing you've done something to 'deserve' or expect one. But, never say never - though any S&D's we do, we'd do in a way that it's truly a surprise.
Okay okay, so the real secret to getting a coveted O2 Surprise & Delight box is to follow these steps in precise order:
