News : UK average 4G speed over 15Mbps, Ofcom report

Headline : UK average 4G speed over 15Mbps, Ofcom report.

Excerpt from the link "UK 4G speeds are more than twice as fast as 3G, according to a new report from watchdog Ofcom.
They clocked up an average of 15.1Mbps (megabits per second) while 3G averaged 6.1Mbps, it suggested."

My thoughts :

Interesting facts which would be better if everyone could attain even a good 2G connection.

Interesting  but I find it quite sad that in what is considered a third world country  (can you still say that?), ok to rephrase...in what is considered by many to be a less developed control,  Thailand can teach the West a thing or two about data coverage and speeds.

Pretty much confirms my findings from 6 months ago before i joined o2, when i tested all the networks on payg sims that Three had the best response load up times for both 3g & 4g. Its not just about speeds, response times are just as important. To be fair anything of 5mbps average download speeds on any network is acceptable, but the response time needs to be their too. o2 are bottom as you can see in response times. This is still the case in 3g areas.
