My thoughts :
Some prefer to go naked {no case or screen protection } and some like to encase their iPhone in enough rubber casing that would protect it from a nuclear winter ! 😄
I have always used the original Apple Leather Case , more to add grip really, and stop scuffs and have been fortunate not to encounter such damage {Touch Wood}
I've tried the tempered glass screen protectors and they are awesome too.
