I've owned most of the Triumph range including many TR's. Certainly my favs. I quite fancy another Spitfire or Vitesse at the mo.

Oh wow, the Vitesse - what a car that was! My first two cars were Vitesses - the first a 1968 MK1 2 litre, absolute pile of junk - no carpets, sill covers or bumper covers - went like the clappers, handled like the Titanic! Needless to say I wrote it off!

The second was a 1970 MK2 2 litre in Royal blue: spent a fortune on it (tite-a-turn suspension, wire wheels, completely rebuilt the engine etc.etc.), absolutely beautiful car.

Guess what - wrote that off too slight_frown

What's really upsetting is it was that long ago I have no pictures of either Smiley Frustrated
