Microsoft Project Scorpio

Anonymous

So after not getting an Xbox One due to my lovely partner, wonderfully gifting me with precious delicate little money sponges, I am finally back on an even keel and not so zombified I couldnt enjoy the odd gaming session, however at E3 Microsoft have anouned not one but TWO consoles a slimmed down slight update to the Xbox One, called the Xbox One S, or the mysterious Project Scorpio.... and since no one in this office could give seven hoots about gaming, I thought I would throw it out there.... do I wait for next year to see what Project Scorpio is and work through my backlog of games or do I get the Xbox One S (now supporting 4K gaming) and start working my way through Fallout?

Dunno about peripherals being proprietary on ps,
Upgraded hdd with an off the shelf 2tb laptop drive, my dualshock works on my ps4, ps3, pc and Android devices.
I also have bt keyboard and mouse for ps4 from eBay for a tenner.
I'd say ps is probably the best for after market additions with Nintendo the worst

I have a pile too numerous to mention, my master degree, kids and football stuff taking up to much time, I still haven't even got to Arkham Knight yet (nine days til its one year anniversary).

Its a pretty amazing game @Anonymous, you'll love it

A PC/Xbox partnership would potentially away me however, if that happened, the opportunities are vast and there are many PC games I'd like to play. I've never tried Warcraft!

We have the xbox one downstairs and the 360 upstairs (gathering dust). Don't think we could give the 360 away now....

PS4 user here too!

I cant really understand why you would want to buy the Xbox One S if the Scorpion is out relatively soon after.

Just buy an Xbox One (or PS4!!) until the new consoles come out

Not really what I want though @viridis. I want a console that plays everything and costs £350. Not going to happen soon

I do love both consoles. They both have amazing exclusives and the respective network menus are great. I'll definitely get the new Xbox at some stage.

@Anonymous, what's your favourite Xbox exclusive? Has to be Halo: Reach for me. Still my favourite game of all time.
