The Brain Teaser is open to all members of the 02 Community.

       9 am today [Wed 12 Feb 2025] and 9 pm tomorrow [Thurs 13 Feb 2025]

so those who are busy or out-and-about will have a chance to join in.

     - Linda from Liverpool; Helen from Yeovil; Jenny from Dover; Wendy from Wolverhampton -

        are at the same university.

        Three of the girls are in love and will be going for a romantic meal on Valentine`s Day.

      Which of the girls is NOT in love and not going for a meal ?  

Q2 Here is a list of animals

      - emu; lion; ant

      Which of the following animals can be added to the above list

        deer;  pelican; pig; spider ?

Q3 5 plus 6 = 11; but 6 plus 7 = 1.

        How is this possible ?

Q4 There is a three digit number.

       The first digit is three less than the second digit

       The second digit is four times as long as the third digit

       The third digit is the same as the first digit.  

Q5 Jack Jones lives round the corner from The Bell pub in Bow, London.

      On Monday morning The Bell pub posted a notice outside

        "As from this morning - Monday - no animals will be allowed in The Bell pub".

      The next day, Tuesday, Jack Jones went to his local betting office to collect his winnings and then went

       to The Bell pub to celebrate. Jack Jones walked into The Bell pub with a monkey but was not asked to

       leave and was served.

A7   7 [SEVEN]. Numbers are in alphabetical order...

            Four  Nine  One  Seven  Six
