I follow an amazing docter called Kate Granger on Twitter. Kate has terminal cancer but has raised a huge amount for charity and has also started the Hello, My Name Is campaign to encourage medical staff to introduce themselves. I think this is a brilliant idea as, rather than just getting straight to the point, it encourages more of a patient/staff bond.
I wanted to bring Kate and the campaign to everyone's attention and also to find out what other people, especially @Cleoriff, think.

I totally (!) agree with you. But it's just like truckdrivers, they're forced to drive unless they would need to get a break. Same with (at least our) nurses. They just need more workers (and to be attractive to young people better payment).
We have a worker here and he is just there to help patients, go to the doctors with them and listen to the diagnosis and stuff.... But one person for 205+ patients is just not enough.

I can't argue with that at all @ComaChameleon When the NHS require budget cuts is always the nursing budget they hack at....:smileysad:

Same here 😞 They would expect a whole bunch more money for what they do all they (as well as ambulance and Fire Dept)
Or the kindergarten-workers (at least here they don't earn much).
